Very skillful or lucky??

Got shown this video by a friend. Considering the sea state a the lack of "real" power an amazing feat.

My opinion was skill and familiarity with the harbour. His opinion was very lucky

I think both! That's an awesome vid. He obviously knew it well but to surf that wave with such limited steerage, never mind power, had some element of luck. That could have gone horribly wrong. Though they don't look shocked being fair, so perhaps they've done it similarly before.

Are they Skandis? If so, I'd go with skill and a touch of "devil may care"

Skilful helmsman would say, no hesitation that would have increased the risks. More skill and balls than risk management, for leisure boating no need to do that, there are safer approaches south of this port on Bornholm. But nevertheless a impressive clip!
