No - perfectly logical. Coz you get paid time n'alf for doing it this weekend and then time n'alf for doing it again next weekend.

Leave it till summer and people will only be asking why it needs done on a weekend at time n'alf at all... ;-)

I'd be worried in his place. He's just been through bigger surf in a digger than I have in a RIB...

Digger and dumper truck stuck in mud - YouTube I know the driver in the machine pulling the dumper out here, heads rolled, he was also telling me he got caught out bye the tide during the towyn floods in the 80's, he dropped all the shutters on the machine and was guided out via walky talky, they worked for 3 weeks 24hr's a day and we haven't been flooded since (touch wood), but I have to agree here they do look a bit lost with two mini diggers on a beach lol

I am having déjà vu! Are we now talking about Brockenhurst Station?

(there are certain repairs taking place here)

Tale told to me today by a mate who lives in a council house.

It took 11 council workers (3 crews of 3 plus 2 inspectors) to change 2 window frames and put 4 tiles in a replacement bathroom (that was compulsorily fitted to his house) -and the work that was being done was remedial work because the council's window fitters messed up the original installation.
