Unsung heroes

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/h...re/6925453.stm

I reckon these people deserve some medals at least - it takes some doing to jump into the water at this time of year - looks like the bloke will recover ok!!!

"Mr Leach, a 43-year-old geography teacher from Oxted in Surrey, dived in and swam to the pensioner who was unconscious and face down in the water"

By the time he reached the man, about two minutes after the boat went down, he was unconscious and sinking into the water, Mr Leach said.

"I rolled him over and swam him to our boat and my son Ben pulled us up onto the outboard.

"It took everything I had to get him to the boat."

Bloody hell it seemed to be a top news item on the BBC - they still did a great job though - they didn't even do a "risk assesment" first!!!
