OK this is a little bit spooky. I used to live opposite the Royal Oak Pub number 95 to be exact!

Normally the traffic is pretty good is to get out through Whitton but if it look bad I suggest you use the pub to its full extent, cept the driver of course!

I think Twickenham has been there for a wee while Codders

It's an intereting point Our footie club tried for 5 years to build a football stadium on the outskirts of town in an established playing field area. Bang on the junction of a Motorway, with an Airport and Rail links only1/2 mile away. The railway and airport both having impressive parking facilities which are motly empty on a Saturday

Could they get planning permission, not on your Nelly. in the end they built it on the site of an old gas works Bang in the middle of town. very inconvenient every other Saturday. But at least it won't be too far for the Pompey fans to travel for the local derby next year.

Your assuming that the saints will stay up Stuart..

Twickers had the chance to buy a huge tract of land adjacent to the rugby ground for parking, and were outbid by tesco's..

We have parked in Meadway a number of times. It's free and you can get straight out on the 316.

Close to the Prince Blucher (Fullers) for a few pints or alternatively enjoy a decent lunch away from the rugby crowds at The Thames Court at Shepperton and work your way in through Lower Sunbury and Hampton and avoid the massive queues on the 316. You can easily get in the ground within 45 minutes from the Thames Court.

Yeah it's difficult to be impressed, lotalty however is required! I am so glad we managed to fob HR off to Portsmouth. If only Rupert Lowe and Clive Woodward would take over the management of the English Rugby team we could get on the road to recovery

Whatever happens with the Saints I guess the forthcoming Welsh victory will give me some solace!
