So, biff, tell me more about this stuff. Assume it needs a good chemical clean & softening of the top layer before application? Also assume it comes in orange & black?

Yes to all of that. It was originally made for lorry curtain sides but works just as we'll on hypalon. It bloody dear. That 5 m rib used a litre of paint and same amount of thinners. They call it reducer. Cost wise I seem to remember it was close to 100 I tried it on a marque panel I got from Lurcher and then tried to peel it off. Still got the test piece hanging up if you want to have a go at it
