True story??...

A woman rented a Citroen C4 in Budapest and drove it from Budapest to Pécs, which is approximately 220km...in 1st gear. She thought it was automatic. Attached the insurance photos of the engine and the bonnet.

Sounds like my Nan,(bless her) she's the only woman I know that reverses off the driveway at 6000rpm only doing 2mph!!!

That C4 must have been screaming it's Nads off

Not sure that's a photo of damaged caused by prolonged over revving of engine.. looks like "normal" fire damge to me.... sounds "fishy"... I mean if she thought it was "auto" how did she select first gear?...

Does the C4 have a flappy paddle/ sequential gearbox, cos that may explain how she selected first. Looks like an engine fire to me.
