I've just finished a bottle of Jamesons, it's not that bad tbh.
Got a bottle of 18yr old Highland Park on the go
Sake? isn't that Japanese? AFAIK I've not upset the dolphin eating, whale murderers yet. That's not racist, just fact

I know I am a newbie here and the topic is definitely questionable, but a suggestion maybe a similar setup to pwcforums.

There they have a pub section, which is invitation only for >18s and is a place where the more controversial threads can be aired. They too have limits on content but it is kept away from the main discussions.

Another newbie here, (1st post) I agree that it doesn't have a particular place on a forum regarding RIBs however,
I'm sick of finding out these celebrities are all predatory sex monsters. I just found out that Morph was a pladophile.

I'll get me coat.

You know I aim to please ...

No .. Its not about JS .. it was just a nod of suggestion really, that some topical issues are fair game,.. IMHO even if they get a bit warm ... I'm certainly not condoning bad taste either.

Ofcourse its a forum about ribs, but I like to read opinion expressed by the people on here, because by and large they come across as well read, and researched Mollers is NOT allowed to reply

Muz, thats precisely why I didn't pull Mollers' second JS thread. Its not the topic that was off limits (although it may be useful for our newer members to be reminded that Religion and Politics are - which is why this is usually such a friendly place!) - it is the tone in which it is discussed.

You may make that two (or more), P-D. As you have decided to air your dirty linen in public, it's worth mentioning that the post in question was "reported" by one of the other members. Personally, I'd have just pulled the post because it was unacceptable in this century (possibly OK back in 1965). I wouldn't have bothered with the PM as I believe that explanations are for children (making an exception here).

FYI, as regards the Washington Redskins, you should read this: Linky

As for the "N" word, I'd suggest that you find a group of young male examples in a local street and try it on them for size. I'm sure they'll let you know how they feel about it. They'd feel the same if you use it on here.

Is it 'coz you is white? No, it is because you can be a bit of a Victor Meldrew

Judging from Kerny's latest Avatar, he and Mick are about to rekindle an even older "heated debate"
