to be fair they must be running out of things to do! and I know its all a lot staged what with the weekley tasks coming in within seconds of one another, but its easy viewing and better than that other reality TV sh*te! - long way down has my vote at the moment, I'd love to do something like that

Long Way Down is yet another staged show and anyone can (and many have) already done the same thing. I know this doesn't make it any less interesting but let's be honest, the reason we watch Top Gear isn't to learn anything about cars it's to look at 3 blokes doing the "job" that all of us would like to do. Both programmes are aspirational.

I may start a taxi service, Ramsgate to London in 2.5 hours!

What a great way to get to work in the morning!

Top Gear is good "turn your brain off" TV.
Jesus what else are you going to watch on a Sunday? Heartbeat?

I know a couple of the guys who worked on the "cross channel" show, all said its all very set up and the stars are not as nice as they seem!
Hey but most celebs are the same.

Mind you the same guys met Mr James Bond in the summer and took him out to sea, said he was the nicest celeb they have ever met, very down to earth.

It maybe set up but I always get a good belly laugh during the show.
They say laughter is the best medicine, well unless your diabetic then insulin comes very high on the list

But slower!

Although the 75mph claimed is a little out - the record was just broken on Coniston for one of those - 68mph! A little short of our 91.5mph RIB!
