Anticipation is mounting here in Leicester too, we've clubbed together to for 10Gigabit connection. This could rival T200.

Des named the day - NOT me!!!

Went down to Poole the other day to do a recce - just as well - the road up to Bath is a frigging nightmare - I had forgotten just how bad it is - Welsh A roads are far better than that - would barely rate as a B road here!!!

Think I will be better off going across to southampton and then up to Newbury. Maybe further but at least decent roads!!!

Checked out some of the slips around dee Way etc - how the hell can they call em slips??? More like walls - the joyriders in swansea would love em - the harbour would soon be full of cars!!!

Maybe- but I do believe that you yourself have inferred on numereous occassions that it was due any time NOW. I fail to see that an exposure of the virtures of English "A" roads compared to those of the Welsh variety is an adequate answer to our curiosity. We do know that Garf has had problems getting the right kind of chipboard for the transom - and it seems also that the glue is not up to standard- and that the engine has been mis-mounted. but despite all these setbacks- I would have thought that we could have counted on a firm delivery date- as it seems you have paid a deposit.

I suppose the analysis of the road situation was to ascertain that your trailer
would be ok around the bends - but I can assure you, that even with my llimited knowledge of the UK road network - there seems to be quite good motorways from the South/south west to Wales.

I am sure that - speaking for this board - we would all like to be put out of our misery to know that you will shortly be in possession of your RIB., a time that we will all mutually share your joy and satisfaction

Not from Poole there isn't!!! In fact the roads in the South of England are very poor running West/East - Just try going from Exeter to Southampton for example.

As I said the road from Poole to Bath - the A350 - is really bad for an A road - great fun if you are in a fast car with little traffic but not so funny towing a big RIB!!!

May find it easier launching at Southampton, rather than going up to Newbury..

The roads from Southampton to Exeter can't be that bad, judging by the amount of caravans on them at the moment..

If its any help.. M4 > A34 > M3 > lotsa places to launch.. A very easy run..

Getting from Exeter to Poole is ok - managed that this weekend, and the trip to our workshops in Churchstow near Salcombe with a 20 tonne lorry with the race boat on and a Nissan Outlaw towing our 7.7 metre RIB, which is lot bigger when you add in the tow hitch and the length at the back including the lighting board.

Codders if you need any help or advice on how to tow on roads other than moterways I'll be glad to give you a bit of advice - it's only fair after all the advice you've given us over the last few months!

Right - I want to see a video of you eating that hat - I will even supply the ketchup - I think with a mouth that size you shouldn't have too much trouble..........

As to when - hopefully a bit sooner than the Pope getting married..........

Codprawn,

Please do us all a favour and just tell the truth.

When will your rib be ready?

Please don’t give the usual evasive reply, just a date would suffice. And perhaps even a reason for the delay.

Cheers.

Ian.
