May find it easier launching at Southampton, rather than going up to Newbury..

The roads from Southampton to Exeter can't be that bad, judging by the amount of caravans on them at the moment..

If its any help.. M4 > A34 > M3 > lotsa places to launch.. A very easy run..

Getting from Exeter to Poole is ok - managed that this weekend, and the trip to our workshops in Churchstow near Salcombe with a 20 tonne lorry with the race boat on and a Nissan Outlaw towing our 7.7 metre RIB, which is lot bigger when you add in the tow hitch and the length at the back including the lighting board.

Codders if you need any help or advice on how to tow on roads other than moterways I'll be glad to give you a bit of advice - it's only fair after all the advice you've given us over the last few months!

"Outstanding, Cookee, outstanding -- get you a case of beer for that one."

Right - I want to see a video of you eating that hat - I will even supply the ketchup - I think with a mouth that size you shouldn't have too much trouble..........

As to when - hopefully a bit sooner than the Pope getting married..........

Codprawn,

Please do us all a favour and just tell the truth.

When will your rib be ready?

Please don’t give the usual evasive reply, just a date would suffice. And perhaps even a reason for the delay.

Cheers.

Ian.
