I revisited a bottle of H-Park last November and was well pleased. Having said that, I spent a few jolly hours with an 18 yo Strathisla once

The odd thing is, I think appreciation of whisk(e)y reflects the humour a bit... It depends on one's mood at the time of drinking, so no one style suits every moment. I intend to research this in more depth

A bit like some cars,.... Japs can copy......... and improve (except for Datsun 120A's ) things well .. lets hope they make a complete fook up and improve the recipe when it comes to rye whisky then too much hooch I say

Got to agree about the Ardbeg. I think the ten year old is rather splendid and the rest of the range is just attempts to gild a lilly.

Just had a little drop of Johnny Walker Green label - now that was a pleasant surprise, very nice drop of golden fluid
