It's strange but I was never nervous flying until I learnt to fly - now I am terrified unless I am in control - looking at this video I realise why!!!

By all means,
traffic control had to shut down that runway because of the heavy winds the pilot made a touch and go, the right decision hopefully they got safe to the ground somewhere else

Yes I spent 5 hrs extra at Munich airport waiting for the wind to drop on saturday (the day this happened)... ...not sure if showing this footage would have made the passengers more appreciative of the delay or just scared when we did take off!

They should have had the sense to abort much earlier in those conditions!!!

Wouldnt have thought taking off was such an issue.. once your free of the ground etc.. no problem. Landing on the other hand
