Brilliant!!!

I also think all petrol stations should display the price with fuel duty and without fuel duty.

32p per litre to BP
94p per litre with Gordon's cut

maybe then it would sink in!!!

Utter genius

So where does all the money from road related duty go? Any ideas how much it totals??

Petrol stations showing price before tax sounds like a very clever move, but would the big chains dare?

The Government have already thought of that one - apparently it's illegal to display the price of fuel without the duty!!!

As to where the tx goes it's scary. In 1975 the government spent almost £13 billion on our roads - they took in £14 billion. Today they take in £38 billion but spend only £7 billlion - a true disgrace.
