Have stayed at the port askaig hotel(fawlty towers) a couple of times whilst visiting distillery's. Beautiful island with great coastline. Coal ila setting is one of the best with great views over to Jura. Very envious.

Nope! 'tis just the "ordinary" double matured distillers edition. Very very smooth, rich deep & not too peaty. It's nearly a liqueur, definitely post prandial. I've not heard of the Himimiyeezzass, I'll keep a lookout.

Oh aye! I've been threatening to buy meself a bottle for a while, but kept baulking at the price, then the birthday bunny came along & a fine beastie he is too I was a tad worse for wear when we opened it, so probably not in the best state to give a considered opinion, but I have a hazy recollection of a very smmmmooooth,rich, slightly sweet, pleasantly smoky without being OTT dram, with a long finish. I need to give it another looking at under controlled conditions
