I shot mine over the bitches round my way, but the load just ended up getting washed away.

I've got an Sr4 to get my claws into ...there will be other pots...( but none so fondly remembered ..or that generated so many posts...

Was there ever agreement on floating/sinking line or the ratio to use of each ?

It has all gone to pot when some mis-plaiced sole scuppers one's crust(acean) for a few (s)quid. What a (w)anchor. It is the crabbers/lobsterererers. If the pot's found it was them that moved it. Half half floating to sinking IMHO. Sinking half to buoy. I'm up for a scrap with some thieving, bottom feeding gypsies. Day or night.

I phoned Cowes Harbor Commission today and they said that they have not removed it or had one handed in. Their consensus was that it had been taken

I think it's a sad day when your pot gets knicked, especially as we all spent time on this to get it right.
