A can of Campbells lobster bisque would be more appropriate ... save him all this bother ... oh and 15 minutes its way too long in boiling water ... 2/3rds that is fine IMO .. but make sure its bubbling boiling... not just hot

I dont faff about with needles either, if its right hot as it should be,... bung him straight in, with enough water to cover it completely too

You can always chuck him the freezer for 30 minutes prior to his hot dip. Slightly more humane. He'll be counting sheep or lobsters before you know it.

If Budweiser did Lobster

I like to cut the lobster lengthways from the cross in the back, clean all the crap out then bbq or grill with garlic butter.

Here is one I caught earlier

BBQ for 6- 8 mins shell down until meat becomes white then 1 minute flesh down. Claws can take bit longer so generally give them couple of mins over the heat headstart over the rest of the body.

If your gonna boil it 12 mins for a 'select' lobster (carapace 87-100mm ish) any bigger and 15mins.

Aren't lobsters and woodlice both in the same arthropod family?

Woodlouse bisque, anyone?

Come on - it must be time to tell us what was in the pot!

It's a big family and you can't choose your relatives. Locusts are Arthropods too and I believe they're quite tasty (like shrimp).

To be fair to Whisper, most potters run large numbers of pots and get a small return per setting. Hoping to hit paydirt with one pot in one day is a longshot. He'll nail one eventually....

My money is on two green crabs and a starfish

Gutted. Kind of expected though. You need to fun when the "locals" check their pots and lay and check yours in between.

Or play the same game and go pull up a few and see what's there. Though two wrongs and all that..

How much weight was in the pot.

It had two concrete slabs bolted to the floor, I did go back and check again late afternoon but nothing.

The only other thing to do is check at low slack tide incase the current has pulled the buoys under? But the trouble is I'm back home now so it means another trip down.
