Thanks

To those of you I have met or spoke to on BOATmad I would like to use this oportunity to thank you for good times in the past as of tonight I have been totally expelled and banned from BOTmad forum for writing text message on my native language, a very harmless one though but I gave hint on one reply that if certain persons would know the meaning I would be banned for life, this sentence did work so well that I was given the farewell wing for good (was not even given chance nor was aske for translation, perhaps they will check with the Icelandic Embassy in London on Monday for translation).
I can not send these thanks on BOATmad so I hope you bear this with me I use RIBnet to give my good friends on BOATmad this farewell wish.

THANK YOU

Bogi Baldursson

Bogi,

I am so very sorry to hear you have been banned, it is certainly NOT deserved.

Thank you Kim

If you play dangerously with inflammable harmless words in your native language which only around 300.000 peoples speaks and when good respective friend asks what it means and I replied "you don“t want to know" this reply gives your imagination and adrenalin flowing. As I respect BOATmad a lot and as Jon Fuller is the owner he is ofcourse in full right to ban me from his baby. So for foreigners on BOATmad I will say this don“t play with your native language unless you translate it at same time.

Bogi, I did not see the offending post, perhaps you'd be so kind as to post what the particular message that got you banned was, in it's original form. I'm sure that will help clear things up.

Hi Matt

As I have no longer access to BOATmad, and I have said here earlier Jon Fuller can contact the Icelandic embassy on Monday for translation from first hand. Surely it was harmless and part of it was actually about myself and that bit was harsher than the main message.

I should not use this forum for doing explanations as originally I just wanted to thank those I know on BOATmad but I am not able to do there.

If Jon Fuller and Tony Davis wants to know what it means I recommend again they contact the Icelandic embassy for translation.

If I am to do the translation it should be done on BOATmad not on RIBnet.

Hi Carly

I have made up my mind not to take this dilemma on to RIBnet and my opinion is the ball is now with Jon Fuller to have my message text translated if he wants to know what it means or I can do the translation on BOATmad as my last farewell. This just shows how playing with words and language can be inflammable.

Dear friends

We have to respect the BOATmad owner decission at least until he has completed his Icelandic lessons.

Pete,

I don“t think so it will be club for some priviledge members that will be pleasing the owner and that is alright with me.

I wish JF all the best in his endeavour to keep all "leišindapśkum" like myself off BOATmad.

To clarify what the word "leišindapśkum (leišindapśki)" means in English:

Nuisance or could also mean if using with some slang words Nut head

Žaš er svo einfalt aš vera leišindapśki, bara vera žś sjįlfur ķ fżlu.
"It is so easy to be nuisance, just be yourself in bad mood"

En aš sjįlfsögšu ertu velkominn ķ klśbbinn mķn kęra Willowkis
"Ofcourse you are welcome to join the club my dear Willowkis"

Vandamįliš er aš žetta er svo leišinlegur klśbbur til lengdar
"The only problem is this club is so booring in long term"

Flestir žola mann ekki til lengdar og mašur er bannašur
"Most people doesn“t resist for long and you are banned"

Ef žś ert brjįlašur sakar žaš ekki, žś skilur !
"If you are menace it helps, you know !"
