Good for Joanna Lumley - most people in the UK love the Gurkhas - and quite rightly - we owe them so much for their years of loyalty!!!

The fight isn't over for their rights to be treated like other British soldiers so please vote on this site.

Interesting. Some of the stories I've heard of their toughness, fearlessness and loyalty to Britain are absolutely amazing.

This has been & still is one of the most shocking acts of betrayal by the British Govt ever.

They let any old muppet in, unless you have been prepared to spend you life dedicated to the country ,& been prepared to risk your own life based on the whim of the UK govt - the same ones who decide you cant actually live in the country you are prepared to die for !

So very wrong, hopefully the presure will remain in place to correct this stupidity.
