tides can be fierce on this windpark and the HW at fleetwood when we sailed up t'other day was fx to be 10.8m.
been noticeable that with the hi pressure the tides have not been too bad on the flood but the ebbs have been awesome, a bow-wave around the turbines and naff all under the keel on some towers.. As we only have one ladder on the towers here it means that on the ebb we are coming in with it behind us and as soon as you get out of tru with the flow then the boat wants to swing round and you end up having to pick the turbine up as you rush past sideways, then if ya get it try and power round into the correct position. Makes for an interesting day. Good job we have had calm (albeit foggy)weather
