Sunseekerexperience.com

On Saturday I went down to Southampton to use a sunseeker experience I was given. Wasn't expecting anything too amazing but It was a great day out in the end! Had perfect weather for it & it was the day before the cowes-Torquay race so saw plenty of race boats!

The boat was lovely & the guys who ran it where pretty cool too! They hardly drove the boat either as they let everyone else drive as much as possible & where keen for us too throw the boat about too & head to other boats wakes! We did a tour of the docks & saw the Queen Elizabeth 2 & the Aurora close up. You don't realise how big they are till you are up close!

Recommend it to anyone who fancies it!

She was leaving later that day! We saw all the people checking out their balconies and the view from the ship

The QE 2 was taken out of service a few years ago, she is supposed to be transformed into a floating hotel,or something like that
So I am guessing Queen Mary 2 or something like that was the one you saw??

Yeh, that's kept at Drivers in the summer, and normally gets shipped to Florida for the winter.

Yeah it was the Queen Elizabeth which is the replacement for the QE2!! Confusing eh? I was out the same day and passed it as it was leaving on my way back in.

Turned out it was headed out on a corporate jolly with guest speaker Sir David Frost on board. He unfortunately died on bored just before his speech.
