Did you see Newhaven's RNLI Severn Class boat in the TV news coverage? Brave people.
The video is on the RNLI Newhaven site, but I am too incompetent to download it, but worth a watch.

BRAMBLEMET - Weather Reports from Bramble Bank bramble bank gusting at 60knots, if you click through it made it to 65 in southampton and looking like 70knts at chichester harbour!
