Subtle trolling...

Anyone else noticed this?? I'm beginning to get the impression lately there is some subtle trolling going on mainly to do with SIBs in the last few weeks - like groundhog day with the same questions in multiple topics/posts going round in circles, advice ignored, same questions in different places, ancient topics revived...

Hi max no I think you are right!! I just thought it was my suspicious mind or the fact that we had a health amount of new members all with the same questions and did not know how to search the site yet. We will have to keep a watchful eye for 'other' events as reported to see if anything is related so to speak.
Cheers
JK

Trolling? On RIBnet? Surely not!

Frankly lads, I think that there is just a bumper crop of lazy gits who have found the site and can't be arsed reading it. After a while on here, you see a pattern - they arrive, they ask questions, they don't listen to the answers and then they fade away. They're Forum tyre-kickers.

BTW, Hi Jambo! Have you finished that drachm of Redbreast yet?

It runs in cycles-usually after a spell of good weather

& wiring feckin VHFs It did occur to me that there was some trolling going on, as no-one could be that thick for so long without Darwin catching up with him.

On a tangent, when I add your website into my favourites, I get the name as "home" I think it needs the name defining somewhere.

thanx Gary it has a few probs including spellings etc-it was put up as a temporary site when the server moved and needs sorting. But as we are commercial skippering most of the time, and training has become just our leisure activity it keeps getting sorta forgotten. Must do-well get daughter to do!

Tell your daughter it's line 6 of the code that she needs to change. She'll see the word "Home" and know what to do from there I'm sure. They know everything nowadays do kids.......
