Yes Mick

I left Redbay in July for a 2 week cruise of both the Inner and Outer Hebrides which totalled some 700 miles and ultimately included a truly memorable run out to St Kilda and I was surprised at how strong the "emotions" were when I watched the video that Boatnomad posted.

To answer some of your questions:

For me this trip took a lot of planning, preparation and attention to detail ie boat preparation - route planning - fuel stops - bolt holes - pilotage etc
I camped or slept on the boat for all but the first night in Easedale and stayed in port on 2 separate occasions when weather systems passed through - I found that a drysuit is equally good for pitching a tent in pouring rain
Fuel and loads of it - from various sources but always by can and trolley - you can get petrol in Leverburgh but its a bit of a hike.

When the time gets closer I will be only too glad to answer any specific questions you have
