Gave getting into work a go this morning got 500 yards up the road and came across several cars thinking the way to drive in snow is to plant you right foot to the floor, needless to say they wernt getting far! So turned round. The whole 1000 meter trip took 1hr. So here's the view out my back doors. Pub lunch I think!

The US President woke one morning to find someone had written "The President is a lousy lay" in yellow snow on the White House Lawn, so he called in the Secret Service to find out who had done that.

Two hours later they came back and said "Good news Mr President, we've analysed a urine sample from the snow and found out that it was the Vice-president." "Great" the President said "Send him to me so I can sack him." The Secret Service Agent said "Before I do that Mr President there is some bad news - we analysed the handwriting and it belongs to the First Lady."

Apologies for the thread/snow drift.

I'm going to be grumpy ..its only bloody snow !!!.. Spent the day faffing about driving muppets about who panic at the sight of a flake -- cant get to work ( didnt try more like) , poeple drive like monkeys - either 1mph or 100mph.....

Everthing is closed on cancelled including important stuff....schools closed , councils panic,

wish that majority of the country would show some COMMON SENSE !!!!

( Oh good work Matt....heating on full & roof down )
