An old paramedic colleague, I joined the service with him in 1989, lost all his pets in a fire a couple of years ago.
His son is trying to raise money to provide fire services with oxygen treatment masks for all pets that are victims of fires, etc. A set of masks that apparently range in size from lizard to horse costs £80.00.
This is his second time doing this and on the last occasion raised enough money for 2 sets.
