Really not that good then - thought the optimists on the Bansko website may have convinced you otherwise Sounds like that lot have their heads stuck well up their arses.

I got the hard sell from my Skiing instructor who's trying to sell some houses he's going to build this summer. Very good prices. But its definitely bandit country. One step up from Afghanistan.

The either stupid, naive or desperately trying to protect their investment. Most have no or little skiing experience and know no better. I can't be arsed wuth them.

The in-laws took a punt on it as an investment for the girls. Considering pulling out and perhaps re-investing. The Aosta Valley looks a good buy as Flybe are flying Newquay-Geneva.

Weather can be pretty bleak there though - more Artic than Alpine!!!

[QUOTE=Mollers;238430] Most of the money is going to 'developers' coming up from Sofia. There are more brand new black Q7's, ML's,X5's out there than Kensington high street.
Whats wreong with the Q7 owners moollers, I have one.
What is austria like for skiing and value?
By teh way, one of our Solicitors fecked off with 80 Million and had projects in Bansko, if there are east block mafia heads there, this guy "michael Lynn" better pay his account in full. He did a runner lousy bugger!

Meanwhile, well done to England in French match, seperate thread coming.

I used to work in the Alps as a ski guide and even in the really expensive resorts property is much cheaper if you're prepared to live further down the valley or in a nearby village - it opens up a lot more areas for your budget.

We flew with flybe from Southampton to Geneva on the last trip - a right bag of shite they were - geared up for individual business travellers with little or no luggage, rather than skiers. They charge £20 per pair of skis each way and they're limited to 5' length. The Mollers family outing would totally freak them out

Oh 'eck! The new b/friend-in-law (Becky's Bloke) is a Flybe Capitano.

Oh bugger!
I bought my own field there 3 years ago, thinking it was worth a punt
Probably a mine field now! At the time the scenery was stunning and the food & people great
Oh well, some you win some you lose

Have a look at this. These people actually provide a good example as to the calibre of Brit that visits Bansko.

If any of you wags feel like piling into these arseholes, feel free.
