I'd like to congratulate the Welsh with their excellent win over Italy. Good luck with the Triple Crown and the Grand Slam.

Thanks - I actually felt sorry for Italy - i love the italians - great people. Don't think I would have felt so sorry if we had been stuffing any of the other teams though!!!

Saw a few crowds of Italians out in Cardiff yesterday, both before and after the game - they seemed to be enjoying themselves, nevertheless. The group of six Italian guys in their mid-twenties downing pints of Brains bitter in the freezing cold outside the City Arms looked a bit out of place.

A good result, after the last two seasons' performances against Italy

- the next two games are going to be tough though.

As we did in the serious tournament.They were 'shell-shocked'.

Great Game!! As an england fan it hurts me but wales were on different level on Saturday!!

most of the Italian fans were great but the 6 sat infront of me in the crowd were poor. as soon as they went behind they stopped supporting and started swearing!

Ok lads, I dont normally find myself putting a shoulder to a Brit wheel but england is a slightly different matter, well done to England from this Paddy. I am delighted they gave the frogs a stuffing, Nothing against the frogs but they think they own the game. I can say that England did themselves proud. I think that I have only once before seen the french Scrum going backwards at speed with Argies! so delighted and well done to Wee johnny who closed the game beyond reach. The French will not care now that the Grand slam is over!!!
Oh and we do like the french, or at least their women

Meanwhile, I am most concerned about the Welsh Ireland match. I believe that we will beat England but we could be just beaten by the Welsh. It will not be the first time in recent history they screwed us up!
Perhaps we will win none of them but I believe the Welsh match will be a tough game.
As for the Scots, well all I can say is that they have beaten us all before and can come up with great reserves. I am sure they will sort it out to our cost some day.
However, I am delighted with the Irish performance and where the scores came from.

I'm pretty sure it'll come down to points. Wales are punching above their weight, England were below. Wales might take the Triple but, I doubt the Grand Slam. England need to work out how to 'hit the ground running' in tourbaments.
