Sika deer - Poole Harbour
Yep, males are in season just now.

That is what is known in the trade as a "spiker" due to the spike antlers, a two year old stag on the wander as he's probably just had his arse kicked off a bigger stag, it's breeding time just now.

Best venison you can get. Always plenty of fat on them.

Beats all other breeds hands down for taste.
