Be very wary of fake Sandisk cards, both Secure Digital And Compact Flash. They are everywhere. I have over 300GB in CF cards and have been caught out once. The 8GB card was a very good fake, but the read/write times where very slow and was very unstable.

Always best to pay an extra couple of quid and get the real deal. Although I once ordered two 8gb cards from 7dayshop for a good price.

I usually get mine from Play.com - free delivery on everything

Tend to order the micros SD cards (most of them come with SD converters) to maximise the future usability.

£4.49 for a 2Gb Kingston Micro SD card - can't argue with that!

2GB? Haven't bought anything that small in years! I thought that having a memory card smaller than 8GB was like admitting to having a penis smaller than 6 inches!

That might be true... but............. I have found that lots of devices that need firmware updates don't like larger faster cards..

Only the very latest camera's support cards over 8GB. And if that 8GB card suddenly goes tits up you've lost allot of info. Stick with 1-2GB cards and buy many

Fuji cameras are fantastic. I sold mine to a mate a few years ago - he is still using it - only 2m pixels. He is doing a college course in photoshop etc and everyone there is stunned that a 2m pixel camera is better than some peoples 6 - 8 m pixel ones.

Oh yeah, for compact or prosumer camera's you can not find better than Fuji! They produce stunning shots. But there DSLR's aren't as good in my opinion.
