Living in NZ

If I had to live anywhere, like codders it would be NZ not OZ.
I am led to believe that everything that bites or stings iN OZ kills whilst in NZ, nothing is that toxic or so I am told.
Must be something to do with the Harsh environment...

Of course I could be talking through my uno. I was never there, just an Armchair Nat Geo fan, Too happy here, now blowing top end of nine .....
Time for you to check your mooring coders...

I like NZ because it's very much like Wales with the same size population but it's the size of the whole UK. They get good weather in the North and down South they have mountains with snow and ice. Also they are like the UK was 20 years ago before all this politically correct nonsense started!!!

Call this a gale? It's nothing after 101mph winds!!! Constant drizzle is horrible though - yesterday was great - saw this strange orange light in the sky - too bright to even look at - reminded me of something I saw a long time ago.....

New Zealand is an amazing place. Warm one end and skiing the other. You can drive for a day and not see anyone. Only real drawback is it is basically a volcano.

If you want to move to NZ it helps if you marry a kiwi
We are working towards emigrating. Both children now have dual nationality, just trying to sort out all the red tape for me. It will be a few years yet as we want to go with no financial worries.

Kate (wife) went to Prague in June on her NZ passport (she also has a British one). When she came back in they stamped it with a 6 month visa which expires on Thursday, I wonder if they will give her a free flight out to NZ. This happened as she was unable to prove she lived in the UK. They will not accept letters addressed to you, driving license, passport or anything else she had. In fact we have yet to find any documentation that they would accept as proof of living in the UK

Just seen this on the news

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6210358.stm

A staggering 10% of native British people now live abroad - whilst the country is filling up with immigrants - a coincidence I wonder? Rats leaving a sinking ship springs to mind!!!

Hi people

Codders 10% of the british people want to have a better life and the UK is shit, no life at all. i agree with your sinking ship comment not surprising when the captin (tony) is such a tŁat.

V666 when you coming out here? its easy to get in when you have more family living here then in the UK and you are on the skilled shortage list. if your children have dual passport then how can they not give in to you?

Aidan i am affraid to tell you there is one small spider in NZ that can kill you, you can get your house sprayed and it kills everything for one year, i hate the creepies you get in OZ rrrrrr

here are a few more pics the trip took 14 days as we had little wind but we drunck loads of beer and chilled out it was fun the yacht is a 65ft custom build its her 3rd time around the world i have been skipper since march 2005

To be honest I can't really see me ever setting down proper roots - if I make enough money I want to buy a ship and see the World - the most far flung and remote parts - watch out Mr Luxton!!!

Besides which I still love my country - just despise what Blair is turning it into!!!
