Safety Cover Help Needed - IoW

I got asked to do some safety cover down on the IoW in a weeks time, but the event, or myself hasn't got the funding we first thought to get my RIB down from Manchester due to the massive amounts of travel I would have to complete.

So I am trying to bounce a few ideas about to see if I can help the event organiser out a little.

Is anyone free 18th - 20th October, with all the correct paperwork (Safety Boat, Insurance etc), a good sized rib (5mtr +) very close to Cowes and willing to volunteer time?

Or has anyone got a RIB thats spare over these dates that I could borrow and is in Cowes

Watch out there are plans for some ribnobbers to be about Cowes that weekend.

Looks like I am defiantly down, just got to sort the RIB - hope they get the funding for mine to come down!

I will be down near that 'sailing school' and the event is in sonars, 9 in total, but the 25hp RIB's from the school are pointless!

Ok I do need help - long shot but is anyone with a RIB free on Saturday who can volunteer the rib and time?

Fuel would be paid, but unfortunately as the event is hosted by a charity and has a very limited budget time can't be paid.

Not really what you're looking for but I do keep my 5m RIB at the school I think you're talking about, I don't have a Safety boat cert though and I have never done any SB work before so not ideal.
Just an option if you're desperate for an extra hand.
