Safety

Hi Everyone

I have not seen this site before and what drew my attention were the conversations as to the Thames in London. My brother was killed in the 60's due to his engine cutting out and then being run over by one of the pleasure boats. So PLEASE becareful when on that river. It can be unpredictable and dangerous. I know how it impacted on my family and myself over the years...I am not trying to teach you to suck eggs just genuine concern....I loved going with my brother for trips along the stretch from Putney but I also know how quickly things can change especially when rules are manipulated by some operators....So keep safe and enjoy.... but give those dredgers and pleasure boats a wide berth .........
