I think Engerlunds opening game plan was based on Le Blue playing like they did against Tonga. I don't think it occurred to them that France might be wearing their rugby boots today instead of their flip flops.

By the time they realised what was happening and started to play more attacking Rugby it was too late.

Ah well I'm hoping for a Wales, New Zealand final but lets face it sods law will dictate a France Aussie final with the Wallabies lifting the cup again.

Well the dream is over for now we need to rebuild from the top terrible 1st half again cost us. How the hell the frogs have got this far and teams like the Irish are going home. On reflection we have not played very well at all but had the chance today to put that right but to many errors again

Hi Tony yep your team let you down, mind u I think so did ur coach with his selection! Make ur way up to the west with Steve next summer and we can share the bottle after some good cruising and food. Here's to the six nations.

Just goes to show...... despite my thoughts .. you just never know until the day .. France were really tough .. they must have swallowed a bunch of grit pills before the match, and the English just didnt know what to do about it ?

Excellent match .. and a bit annoying in a way, because neither side have been playing at their best .. but to produce a game like this ?

Some pure class, and some utter dross .. great game

but the fact remains England you were beaten by an 'average' side and that will hurt a bit I bet .. never mind .. well done to all

I enjoyed the game .. well France won didnt they

Well like a said in a later post that England needed a quick start to give us a chance of beating the French. Well there was no sign of that in the first half

Anyway no excuses we were crap and now we are on our way home.

Well done to Wales.

just watched the Ireland match this morning .. tuff stuff .. the Irish holding players up plan wasnt working so well .. So wales looking flexible and adaptable to their oponents .. using the head as a team

I think the arrogance may've masked the fear, they were shite and they new it.

They've not managed to string two half decent performances together under Johnson, the pre RWC warm-ups were a shambles. One cocked eye at the ABs would've put the fear of God into them.
