Do you need to own it outright? I've one here that others locally borrow when they go camping, know any one local with one?

Other option is these guys - roof box hire | roofbox rental | car box hire | roof rack hire | bike rack hire

Unless you're going to use it loads, and we don't, then its an option to see how you get on.

Thanks for the link. I know that this year it's going to be used at least twice with a trip to lymington and then a trip to center parks but apart from that there is nothing else planned, so hiring / borrowing is an option.

I've been searching eBay and see a few are listed so I'll keep an eye there as that would be cheaper than hiring after 3 ish uses.
