Not really.. My 3am math mebbe wrong, but there are roughly 60million "brits".. Your figures total 310,000.. Thats around half of one percent.. hardly "a a lot"..

do, but I have a British rib were was yours made then ?

British of course- thats why the front tubes came off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( BWM Rapier ) -
The hull & tubes were made in the uk- but all the rest was foreign
-japanese engines
-American GPS
-Japanese radar
-German seats

and as I have said many times before -its pathetic that a great country such as the UK..... HAS LOST ITS MANUFACTURING AND INNOVATIVE industries when so much has been attributed by UK invention and techology in the past.
Oh forgive me you do have Bob Geldorf -- no wait a minute he's irish. Now thats a fine bunch of people..........

Watch Top Gear - the Goldfish RIB made in Sweden burst it's tubes!!!

My RIB is pretty much British

British GPS
British Chartplotter
British Fishfinder
British Radar
British VHF

And if you are wondering it's all Raymarine!!!

British seats
Jap engine cos we don't make outboards!!!

Oh and British driver of course!!!

WHY oh WHY do people love to bash this country so much???

What about all the success stories?? The world's biggest drugs companies - oil companies - communications companies etc etc???

What about the worlds biggest ever oil pipeline - runs through Azerbaijan - built by BP - so long it will take 6 months of pumping before the oil fills it???

Britain owns far more of the world than people will ever realise - in the last few years something like 70% of all the global takeovers have been British - more than all the other countries put together!!!

I know its not the time to be flippant - but Codders why do you need a
fish finder on a rib? I fail to see the relevance for a rib?? or do you mean "british fish and chips"
