What are you implying? The fact that Tom invited me down after chatting at Earls Court and then helmed has absolutely nothing to do with my opinion of the magazine. It was a good experience and I enjoyed it and was glad to have someone with race experience at the helm.

As you know from this thread if I see something I don't like I will point that out as well...

I don't think that Bedajim (The 103 Kid) is implying that you had an ulterior motive, rather than, why didn't you helm the thing yourself?

The reason I did not take the helm during the race is that I wanted Tom to start us off and to be frank was glad he did as it was like something out of Wacky Racers. After 4 laps the race was stopped because a boat flipped so I did not get the chance to take over.

Is everyone OK with that

Well I think it was very brave Buggered if I'd hand over my pride and joy to some spotty yuff for him to go and thrash the nuts off
Can I have a go next time
