Can anyone please recommend a decent free registry cleaner/repairer to download and use?

Yep Andy, google 'Cleanup'. It's been completely reliable for me for a couple of years now.

Completely different Andy and I gave you the wrong name - not at home at the mo - Ccleaner it's called. Sorry about that mistake.

I use ccleaner as well now for a few years. “The Boss” runs her own internet cafe as well and swears by it.
