............must be joking. He one of the boys, he's a good all round egg, that's why he's got 3 blobs, I've only got one (I had 3 once) and you're going backward. Or perhaps that's something to do with the fact that he's as conventional and uncortroversial as a traffic cone !

You know I love ya P D

Ah back at last - was getting withdrawal symptoms!!!

At least you stab me in the front - not the back - much better!!!!

Ever thought of mounting a punt gun on the Rib - would make short work of jetskis as well............

Well considering I haven't been posting so much lately and various people have actually said they AGREE with me(remember it's all in print) I was somewhat suprised!!!

About the only thing ANYONE has disagreed with me on lately is whether or not RIBS are glamourous or not - suppose that depends on how many models you have on board!!!

Funnily enough........we actually have a real problem with jetskiers on the Essex saltmarshes - at certain states of tide they use the marsh itself as a ramp from which to launch their confounded machines and cause such serious erosion to it that the Environment Agency has asked wildfowlers to report all such incidents with a view to prosecution. Personally I favour an Eley 3" magnum with a 2oz charge of AAA shot. If you use a fast enough burning powder they only require some 6ft forward allowance at 30yds

Christ, I look better without the beard!

I think you'll find genital warts are rather more prevalent in Essex than the facial variety, Dave.

Much better than shooting innocent ducks!!! And more fun!!!

Still say it's a punt gun you need - 28oz of shot!!!

http://www.wildfowling.com/puntgun.htm

Funnily enough it was Norfolk and Essex they originated in - maybe time to reintroduce?

There are actually 3 or 4 puntgunners still active here on the River Blackwater and a couple more on Hamford Water near Harwich. And there's an old boy on Mersea Island who'll still build you a traditional Essex gunning punt, for a modest fee of course They attract quite a lot of interest from casual observers on coastal walks etc., who understandably find the whole issue of launching a boat with no freeboard or buoyancy into the middle of a tidal estuary in winter completely insane and eccentric.
