recent stolen items

I was just looking through other peoples websites and linked into www.stolenboats.org.uk
and was surprised at the high number of small engines being taken
Yamaha 8 HP 29 Dec Outboard Engine
Mariner 135 L HP 29 Dec Outboard Engine
Mariner 50EFI HP 29 Dec Outboard Engine
Volvo 10 HP 29 Dec Outboard Engine
Yamaha 50 HP 21 Dec Outboard Engine
Sukuki 115 HP 13 Dec Outboard Engine
SUZUKI 4 HP 13 Dec Outboard Engine
Mercury 8 HP 13 Dec Outboard Engine
Warrior 175 Length 5.18 m 12 Dec Motorboat
Evinrude 70 HP 12 Dec Outboard Engine

These were just recent ones yet boats are less so, maybe a wake up call to us all to make sure we have good security , having just ordered a new trailer lock

There have been many thefts this way suffolk 24 nov aldeborough 20 outboards and several dinghys. Before that A rib charter company also had his large twin set up stolen.the theives to his boat out to open water removed his engines took his rib back and left it tied up back at his mooring. This gang is organised and they are mariners/seamen.This is just a few examples. One can assume its being sent abroad
