No, not into WOW, couldn't pay a monthly subscription to play a game you've already paid for. Like battling my brother in battlefield2 though.

Games are a great escape from the daily bollox.

Yes indeed John they surely are a great escape its a form of relaxation yet to be appreciated to be honest, and after the crap day I've had ,.. its another time to catch up with like minded easy going peeps. TV just doesnt cut it for me sometimes, interactive gaming has a wee buzz all of its own. That said I can leave it far enough sometimes cos it winds you up too ....

I know exactly where you coming from there
Have you tried portal on the orange box? I'd rather deal with the kids on speed rather than complete that again !

Quake was what I started on the rest is history .. in those days with a 28:8 modem it all worked fine nowadays if you havent got a 12 meg download you're toast ...

Sheesh guys...Hardcore gamers eh?
I started with Quake on a modem and it was terrible. Used to play on German Servers and have a 1000 ping...The only person you could catch was my mate from Guernsey...LOL..Its just amazing have we have all spent thousands on gaming pc's especialy for HL and Unreal and Qauke, and now its a freebie add-on,,,mad
