Pompey Harbour - Fire Works Fri 26 Oct 07

Fire works display just off Gunwharf starting at 105 hrs this Friday. Not sure what is in aid of but the harbour is going to be closed. Jimbo will probably have the best view although the high rise council flats at the top end of the harbour may also be a good vantage point.

We watched with a beverage from the lightship. Probably a better view than from Gunwarf judging by the crowds. Not totally sure why but they were playing Christmas music when they let them off. If you wanted you could have taken a rib out and watched from the water - they didn't seem too bothered about the 5 or 6 boats sitting near the lightship.

Anyway, heres a few shots. Not very good as fireworks are incredibly difficult to photograph with a mobile phone....
