Perils of the Sea

What a hell of a night we had - i was woken at about 5am by one of the worst gales I have heard in a while. My first thought was for any poor buggers out at sea.

Just spotted this

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cornwall/7174483.stm

Looks like 6 crew members are dead. They managed to rescue just one!!! I see the wind speeds weren't flagged as being that high - force 9 to 10 - we were hit by an 11 I would say. I don't recall any warnings last night but wasn't paying much attention. It must have been really evil out there poor buggers.
