Swansea people could understand what the Cornish were going through quite well - a bit longer ago but the Mumbles lifeboat was lost with all hands in 1947 on some horrific rocks called Sker point.

One thing I tend to find ironic is that some of the closest knit seafaring places with the greatest history of rescuing people from the sea used to be the home of the worst of the Wreckers. Cornwall and Gower being classic examples!!!

There is a still a bit of 'wrecking' going on. A container was washed up on the Scillies a while back. Oddly, several old dears were later seen, wearing Nike 'Air Jordans' and wheeling their shopping along in Callaway golf trolleys.

I missed the programme. I've tried to find a copy on the Internet, but failed. Does anyone know where I can download all or part?
