Bike chat now.
Got rid of bikes a couple of years back now. Dont miss at all. I only miss track days. Our roads are rubbish. Mates have died and as a fire man I see too much death related to bikes.
Never owned a R1 but allways wanted one. Rode plenty of them.
Ex latest bikes.
ZX10R
KTM off roader
Keep safe but dont let that spoil your fun.

Shows what can happen when someone that rides bikes for a living takes his eyes "off-the-ball" for a split second. Have worked with and owned bikes for over 25 years and had three spills, all my own fault. Run out of ground clearance by getting too fixated with sparks from pegs, braking mid corner a few weeks after test and not spotting diesel at Hyde Park Corner ( diesel spill is somebody else's fault but I slid on it because I didn't spot it.........my fault).
Can you imagine if Lolo had dropped between the boat and the pontoon? I reckon he got off lightly, thank goodness.
I've just sold my Tiger 1050 and still have my Bimota YB8 which I've now had for 10 yrs. Looking for a ZRX1200......lovely looking machine.......ZZR1400 is on my list as is the new GUZZI Cali.
Same buzz as RIBS, all weighed up just as dangerous/just as safe.
Great fun.
