I don't wish I had been there - probably very lucky not to end up with a killer whale in the boat as well!! Brilliant video though!

I was also wondering if one of the orcas would try to pick the penguin off the boat. Amazing video!

I've seen BBC footage where a penguin hides aroung a mini iceberg, when it jumps up onto it the orca ram the berg to knock him off. Very suprised they didn't nudge or ram the Rib. Could have been a much more interesting vid!!
to penguin though!

must admit one of the orca's gives the boat a good look at 1:40,
but still what an experience!
closest i've got was a seal in southampton water,
and im still not covinced it wasn't an old tyre!

I have to say .. having been buzzed by a minky which patrolled round me at close proximity then dived under my boat in several directions and bumped me .. that was my feeling .. only, they (minky) are much larger and I can tell you I dont scare easy.. but this guy had me in a bit of a quiver thats one big fish you kind of say hello and wave goodbye to in the same breath if you are standing right next to it .. especially when there is a mile between you and the shore .. mummy
