I've gone a bit daft on it recently,
so far it's got:

Safety Devices Roll Cage
Webasto Diesel burning pre heater (warms engine & cab up before you get in)
ABS
Traction Control
'Mach 5' wide offset wheels
BFG Mud Tyres
High clearance front bumper
Rear corner bumpers
2 inch suspension lift
Rock Sliders (2 bits of 4x2 steel section bolted along the sides)
Bonnet and wings plated (for roof access)
Heated windscreen + seats (yep, I'm going soft)
Safari Snorkel
Extra 48l fuel tank stuffed in rear wing
Twin Optima battery system with AC 240v inverter
Underbody protection (diffs & sump)

Still got a few more bits to do.
Off to Norway to play in the snow next week and then off to Iceland in the summer.

Mr 500, didn't your landie used to be yellow as well? Or is my memory fading (must be shell shock!)

It's the periscope for the gArfish's Ribba flikkin machine or a snorkel for the airfilter. It's designed to stop the desert sands of Northumbria from getting into the air supply to the engine. it also works fairly well under water.

I do like the idea of the pre heater this Southern wuss would like one

Got them pre-heaters on both my Landies too....it all adds up to a very smug expression, when you go out to your nicely warmed motor with ice on everyone elses....

The dust here isn't from Northumbria but the Kalahari,
I do however also go to Tesco's in it...
