Nothing Changes!

After the high speed adrenalin ride that was Spartacus' "repairing manhole cover German style"' I give you "Digging small trench UK style".

Of course - that area is I feel sure within 'Old Portsmouth Historical Conservation area' ( or some such waffle ) ....so they have just had all work stopped as they dont have triple virgins to witness the proceedings....

Oh and before the Virgins in Prtsmouth Jokes crop up I went to the big school on the corner up the road ----so I'd know !

H&S in full effect ....

Similar to California's Highway workers (CalTrans), where the normal operation is four guys leaning on shovels, and one guy with a short little orange flag. The guy with the flag gets paid more, cause it's harder to lean on the flag.

Is that the same school that had to cancel the nativity play, as they couldn't find a virgin & 3 wise men?

You gotta love the "mandatory hard hat mentally" in the UK....."must protect our heads from the iminent threat of the mini digger bucket falling on it"...

I like the way the 'lumberjack' feels the need to keep his warm...

Excellent.

Now you realise Dry Run - that you'll have to photograph the finished job to see if it's up to Moller's 'UK standard' for road surface reinstatement.

This I must see.
