Need a gearbox ASAP

Hi all I have a vauxhall vivaro 2007 with 110,000 miles, the gears have been getting hard to select over the last few weeks, if I take for a run 15-20 miles at 50-60-mph and stop its fine but when cold it's back to being hard to select the gears does anyone know where I can get a recon gearbox in the north west, I would prefer to use someone recommended, I have a mechanic to fit it.
Thanks

Not exactly what you're after but I used Automatic Transmissions at Huddersfield and they were very good! Might be worth a call to see if they can recommend anyone near you?

I will give them a call, I'm working on the extension at angelsey sea salt, and don't fancy being stuck there, I need to get on one before Saturday if possible, the wife doesn't like me using her pickup for work lol

Sounds more like a clutch and dual mass flywheel problem. At 100k miles a bet it has not had a decent oil change. Alan P Building gearboxes for 45 years

Change the gearbox lubricant - as already suggested. Can often make a significant difference & you have little to lose.
Don't forget that many gearboxes now DON'T use EP oil so check the spec required.
Putting EP into a box that uses ATF/MTF can wreck it in very short order as the EP is too thick to circulate properly in the box.
