He fell asleep at the wheel - FACT Nobody was there -further witness's say the LR was being driven normally

How many more FACTS do you want!!!
Try and read -or do you need glasses as well as a new brain?. go to www.bbc.co.uk /search /selby train accident

just tell me how many hours you have spent towing trailers in excess of 3000 kgs ...

jonathan

For ONCE READ what people have posted and the links - then shut up!!!!

http://www.guardian.co.uk/selby/stor...658200,00.html

He came off the road BEFORE yes BEFORE the barrier - there was NO barrier where he came off - repeat NO BARRIER!!!

What I stated as FACTS were found by a court of LAW - now he may not have fallen asleep at the wheel etc etc but that is unfortunately what a jury decided!!!

I will NOT respond again - you are obviously to thick and stupid to carry on any sort of discussion - no wonder JONO resorted to swearing at you!!!

you are right --- i am thick skinned and other people'e comments about me do not peturb me one bit. I was brought up to ignore other people's opinions
and do things myself, and one last point those who have found my posts trouble- causing - "if you cant stand the heat get out of the fire"

As an aside, has anyone seen a new Range Rover Sport on the road in the UK yet? Just driven back from Germany today and have seen four car transporters full of them en route through France! They look bloody gorgeous, by the way Nice of Land Rover to look after the home market first I hear they're even better off-road than the 'real Range Rover'. Codders, over to you.....

I am seriously thinking of one - they do look cool so if our next contract will allow!!! yes I WILL take it offroad and use them the way nature intended - it is not so much rocks etc you need to worry about - more like bushes and trees on narrow lanes.

On the Disco I had on hire I did some really extreme offroading - not a scratch - on the M4 near heathrow got stone in right through one of the bumper mounted spotlights - how the hell that happened I will NEVER know!!! Cost £95 for a new one - fitted it myself - £500 excess with the hire company!!!

Do you work for Land Rover, Des? Did you get a chance to see the Sports in action?

And talking of Gaydon, I don't suppose you caught a glimpse of the new Aston Martin Vantage, did you?

Amongst other things I act as an agent for European suppliers to the PAG group so I am currently involved with several projects at Land Rover, AML and Jaguar You see all sorts of things at Gaydon most of which they donít like you to talk about
Had the mixed pleasure of being driven around the test track in a DB9 Volante good, because it is a great car, bad because I wanted to drive and donít yet have the licence for Gaydon Des

Mate of mine has a DB7 vantage - has a DB9 on order - due July - has already placed an order for an new V8 Vantage cos of the waiting list - went around the factory with him to see the DB9 - very impressive - but not as nice as the old place in Newport Pagnell where they still make the Vanquish I believe.

Starting to feel a bit left out now - other mates have a Lambo and a Ferrari 360spyder - has the new F430 coming soon - at least I get to drive them quite a bit - they too scared to take em round a track!!! Managed to cook the brakes on the 360 big time - and he reckoned he wouldn't need the ceramic option on the 430!!!
