Interesting. I heard of one guy who's trading in his DB9 for one of the new Vantages because he wants a more raw driving experience. Although he loves the bigger Aston, he feels the DB9 is just a bit too comfortable!! Two year waiting list for the baby Aston already, but then an Aston Martin for Porsche money was always going to be a winner.

Yeh a mate of mine has got a couple of Astons, one is an old DB7. He also owns Cornwall and I think his mom is going to give him the thong of England or something, not quite sure what that is but he is very pleased
When I say mate I’ve met him a couple of times...............when I say met him, well I’ve been in the crowd when he's gone past.............. in a car.......... at speed but I’m sure we would be mates cos we have a lot in common .......err............ love of horses, Ugly women, money and shacking hands

Another mate of mine invented MS Dos lives in US somewhere, I think he is loaded. Who said I am a fantasist and deluding myself. Des

Fair enough I may be sad enough to have made it all up - then again I just MAY be telling the truth - in which case - unless you can prove different....

Do you honestly think I LIKE having mates with such cars when I can't reasonably afford one???

At least they are some of the most down to earth people you could ever want to meet with no airs and graces!!!

As to affording one my mate with the Ferraris reckons it's not too bad as long as you keep the milage down - with the waiting lists the way they are as long as you change them regularly you wont really lose money!!!
