Cookee, when on the South Island check out Doc here- http://www.adventuretours.co.nz/hosts/index.html
He does a mental jetboat trip on the Buller river. Queenstown has gotton a bit overdone and the boats are now like buses. Doc has a 15ft bare ally thing with a tuned 7.4ltr V8 spinning a Hamiliton 2 stage jet. Frightened the s*** out of me.

Looking at the site, it looks as if Doc now has a 'bus'. Book a trip in the 'ally animal' which seats 5 inc. him, not the bus. The Fox Glacier heli trip is also pretty stunning taking in Mt. Cook etc.

Thanks Mollers - it seems it's a bit out of our way to see "Doc", where does the Mount Cook heli trip go from?
